Even wat huishoudelijke taken afmaken hier in huis en dan kom ik rond 11.00 met ronde 2.

BACK TO THE 50's ~ !RONDE 2! ~ BACK TO THE 50's

Ronde 1 leverde al vaak genoeg dilemma's op. Welke moet ik hier nu van wegstemmen?? Ik had er zelf ook al geregeld last van, en dat komt toch niet zo heel vaak voor in een eerste ronde al. Dat toont wel nog maar eens aan met wat voor hoog niveau songs wij hier te maken hebben.
Even een greep uit de nummers die we zoal kwijt zijn geraakt:
Roger Williams - Autumn Leaves (de 3e best verkochte single uit het hele decennium)
Buddy Holly - Heartbeat (werd nog 9e in de Greatest Hits-editie van Buddy Holly / The Big Bopper / Ritchie Valens hier op MusicMeter)
Frankie Laine - I Believe (UK's best selling single in 1950)
Peggy Lee - Secret Love (UK's best selling single in 1951)

Jullie kunnen je wel voorstellen hoe dat vanaf ronde 2 zal gaan. Het wordt er dus niet gemakkelijker op.
Even kort wat info / regels:
- Er is een volledig open loting geweest middels een randomizer; er zijn geen beschermde platen.
- Elke battle zal 1 winnaar kennen die doorgaat naar de volgende ronde.
- In ronde 2 geldt opnieuw: zodra een plaat 5 stemmen heeft gekregen, wordt de volgende battle geplaatst.
- Iedereen kan de volgende battle plaatsen zodra de vorige voorbij is.
- Wanneer een battle niet tot 5 stemmen voor een plaat komt, geldt de 24 uur regel.
- Wanneer de stand ook na 24 uur nog gelijk is, gaat de plaat die als eerste het hoogst aantal stemmen kreeg door naar de volgende ronde.
- Een vriendelijk, doch dringend, verzoek om alleen te stemmen als je beide platen kent of beluisterd hebt; geen haat-stemmen aub. Dit is een 50's-meter: alleen hipcats en cool chicks zijn hier toegestaan, geen squares
- Belangrijkste regel: geniet van de muziek!
De Spotifylijst is dezelfde, de afvallers zijn er niet tussenuit gehaald want... nou, die volledige afspeellijst is voor iedereen in de toekomst nog leuk om in zijn totaliteit te kunnen beluisteren
