Hier eindigt het, voorlopig dan. Ik wil op 27 december deze game nog een keer tot leven wekken om het metalalbum van 2021 te bepalen. Als daar animo voor is, maar volgens mij komt dat wel goed. Dat doe ik dan in ditzelfde draadje.
Ik wil Zack bedanken voor het starten van deze game. Dat gebeurde op 30 april. Ruim drie maanden geleden! Vanaf 1995 nam ik het over. Het was soms lastig, een enkele keer was ik het bijna zat, maar ik besloot vol te houden. Iedereen bedankt voor het stemmen de voorbije maanden!
Mijn kennis van metal is enorm toegenomen. Ik heb veel nieuwe albums leren kennen, elk jaar waren er wel albums en bands waar ik nog nooit van gehoord had. In het bijzonder dank ik Kronos en Don Cappuccino voor alle toevoegingen. Sommige bands waar ik nu met plezier naar luister had ik zonder deze game niet ontdekt. Ook alle anderen die bands aandroegen of suggesties deden: dank!

Het was in elk geval ook leuk om mee te doen. Nu al die albums die genomineerd zijn (nog) eens proberen luisteren. Maar dan zijn we nu wel klaar voor het volgende project hé

Haha. Zeker. Maar ik heb zelf geen interesse, helaas.
Ik heb er eind 2021 bewust geen aandacht meer aan geschonken. We werden bedolven onder de eindejaarslijstjes en ik wilde afwachten of iemand er nog over zou beginnen. Dat gebeurde niet. Ik vreesde voor onvoldoende animo om eerlijk te zijn. Maar als genoeg mensen interesse hebben, is het wel leuk 2021 ook nog even te doen.
Natuurlijk moet er wel aan promotie worden gedacht. Maar zoals gezegd, ik laat de organisatie langs me heen gaan. Te weinig tijd, ik ben momenteel ook weinig te vinden hier.
