Goeie finale, ligt allemaal erg dicht op elkaar. Alleen met mijn nummer 12 heb ik weinig, vind alle andere PSB-singles uit 1987 veel beter, met name het hartverscheurend mooie Rent. En The One I Love vind ik uiteindelijk ook het zo goed als minste nummer van Document, gelukkig doet van hen nog een andere topper mee. Maar had in de plaats liever The Replacements ofzo gezien.

Ik doe lekker mee met het geweeklaag. Weliswaar twee wereldnummers, niveau top 100 aller tijden, en daarachter twee prima niemendalletjes. Die behoren echter niet tot mijn top 10 van de respectievelijke bands. Dat zegt veel over hetgeen erachter komt: met lichte tegenzin geef ik nog een puntje aan True Faith, maar de zeven andere zijn voor mij niet finalewaardig in een topjaar als 1987. Depeche Mode, The Triffids, Dinosaur Jr., G'n'R e.a. worden node gemist.
