Geen Exodus, dat is toch wel een aardige verrassing. Als album wat minder dan het debuut, maar het titelnummer van Pleasures zou niet hebben misstaan. En ik had ook graag Hades, Leatherwolf, Whiplash, Messiah ('Hyper Borea'!) en Heathen in de lijst gezien, maar you can't have it all en het is los van deze omissies zeker een supervette lijst.
Bij nader inzien: ik gooi Overkills 'Wrecking Crew' er toch niet in, maar de minder voor de hand liggende Malice's 'Sinister Double'. Godsamme, wat een hoofdbrekens over deze nekbrekers.
Tevens een tweede van Carnivore: 'Race War' is een ranzige classick die er in móet, al is het maar om nu heel (on)toepasselijk te kunnen zeggen bij deze derde ronde: vol is vol.
