Hoe lekker ik Vengeance ook vind en hoe gezellig hun optreden op Baroeg Open Air ook was (ik vond Leon nog verrassend goed/adequaat bij stem), anno 2025 ga ik toch harder op het obscure, hysterische en lompe geluid van Bluuurgh...: die zanger vind ik geweldig ziek klinken.
Ook al weet ik heus wel dat (deze van) Vengeance feitelijk beter is.

Lang niet gehoord. Ook gelijk maar opgewaardeerd van 3,5 naar 4.

Licht verrassende tussenstand. Ik had een walk-over van Gorefest verwacht. Maar Exises krijgt veel meer liefde, leuk! Was het trouwens ook niet het eerste hardrockalbum van Nederlandse bodem dat op cd was verschenen? En dan ook nog op het moment dat het album voor het eerst uitkwam, d.w.z.: gelijktijdig met de lp? Er staat me zoiets van bij. Vengeance, Vandenberg en Bodine waren bijvoorbeeld veel later met hun cd-releases. Ik dacht dat ik 'em trouwens ook op lp had, maar nee.
Ik doe mee met de keuze voor de underdog.
