Ik pleit voor de 5-4 platen. Toevallig vergeten platen kunnen nooit van groot belang zijn, anders waren ze niet vergeten. Dan liever een album dat ongelukkig verloren heeft (en 4 stemmen is aardig wat in deze knock out) een tweede kans geven.

Heeft er iemand bezwaar tegen als we deze laatste stemmen van Casartelli, Obsessed, Omayyad en Waldo Jeffers alsnog mee laten tellen?

Geen probleem, maar dan hebben we nog steeds 2 plekken over.

Waar is Casartelli toch, hij is ten slotte de geestelijk vader van deze KO.

Sorry mensen, ik heb ook bij vlagen wel eens iets beters te doen...

Ik heb even geteld en ik kom tot een negental 5-4-overwinningen, die we dan zouden kunnen verdelen over twee matches = vier wedstrijdplaatsen. Blijkbaar is de 5-4 relatief toch niet zo heel uitzonderlijk... het idee van nieuwe platen sinds het begin van de KO staat me ook nog steeds wel aan. Wat we ook doen, we zullen eerst een schifting moeten maken (door te stemmen?). Dan zouden we kunnen kiezen tussen:
* 2 matches met de vier populairste 5-4-verliezers
* 2 matches met de vier populairste nieuwe platen
* 1 match van type 1 en 1 match van type 2

Meer progplaten weet ik zo een, twee, drie verder niet uit 2007.

Mij maakt het niet uit, ik hoop alleen dat er wat tempo in blijft.

We hebben nu 14 platen (9 die met 5-4 verloren hebben en 5 uit 2007). Als we die in een lijstje posten er erop stemmen, en bijvoorbeeld de 6 platen die het eerst 3 punten halen naar de 2e ronde laten gaan...

Is dit een idee?

Ik vind het een prima idee.

Ik zou graag willen zien dat hier ook iets mee gedaan wordt. Per slot van rekening zit hier een aantal juweeltjes tussen, dat wat mij betreft beslist naar de volgende ronde mag. Sterker nog... ik zie liever al deze platen doorgaan dan sommige albums die in 2007 zijn verschenen.

Die vier albums kunnen er toch ook nog wel bij?

Dan heb je een lijst van 18 albums. Je kunt dan iedere user een aantal punten laten uitdelen (ik denk zelf aan 2), en de 6 albums die het eerst bij de 5 zijn gaan door naar de tweede ronde? Op deze manier combineer je dus alledrie de manieren om 'rest-albums' naar de tweede ronde te laten gaan.

deze vier hierboven zijn toch gewooon door?

Dat dacht ik ook... dan hebben we nog 4 kandidaatsplaatsen te vergeven. Ik stel voor er daarvan 2 aan te wijzen aan 5-4-verliezers en 2 aan nieuwe platen. Als iedereen bij zowel de 5-4-verliezers als bij de nieuwe platen er aan drie 3, 2 en 1 punten toekent, zetten we degene die de meeste punten scoren onderling in een match (we hebben dan dus één match 5-4 en één match nieuw). Dan kunnen we een dag later aan ronde 2 beginnen (die overigens in Excel al helemaal klaarstaat, op de keuze van die laatste 2 na dus).

even voor de duidelijkheid, als je niet voldoende platen kent om 3 punten te geven, wat doe je dan? vanaf 1 punt beginnen (dus de ene plaat die je kent 1pt geven)? of vanaf 3 (dus de ene plaat die je kent 3ptn)?

Tja, dat zou ik naar eigen inzicht invullen... het is niet slechts een waardeoordeel over de plaat zelf, maar ook over de gerechtvaardigdheid ervan in de KO. Wat dat betreft vind ik het gerechtvaardigd om je derde punt uit te delen aan de plaat waarvan je de beste verwachtingen hebt of waarvoor je andere gronden hebt... alleen 3 en 2 vind ik ook best...
