Waarom mag Daniël Lanois beginnen bij 23? Nieuwe nummers moesten toch achteraan beginnen? (staat ook bij de regels op pagina 1)

Even een aantal pagina's teruglezen.
Regels zijn veranderd nadat we een basislijst van 40 nummers hadden.

Nadat een plaat afvalt heb je nu 2 mogelijkheden.
1) Of je wilt een bestaand nummer verplaatsen in de lijst, danwel omhoog danwel omlaag.
Wil je een nummer omhoog hebben dan gaan we net zolang door totdat ie verliest.
Wil je een nummer omlaag hebben dan gaan we net zolang door totdat ie wint.

2) Of je brengt een nieuw nummer in. Een nieuw nummer begint in het midden van de lijst en gaat omhoog totdat ie verliest.
Echter, verliest het nieuwe nummer al in de 1e ronde dan gaat ie daarna direct de weg omlaag in, net zolang totdat ie wint.

Okee, maar dat vind ik niet echt eerlijk t.o.v. de nummers die achteraan zijn begonnen. Vele nummers zijn daar blijven hangen, omdat enkele hoger genoteerde nummers een bijna onneembare horde bleken te zijn. Daar hebben de nieuwe nummers die in het midden instappen geen last van.
