Ik denk ook Sigur Ros. Ik vind Tom Waits ook vreselijk, maar dit nummer viel best mee omdat het vrij ingetogen is. Bij mij staat ie nog boven Nick Cave en 2 keer Pink Floyd in ieder geval.

Ik vind meneer Waits ook een bijzonder overschatte artiest. Martha is dan nog wel weer aardig en heeft bij mij zelfs de 29e plaats nog bereikt.

Ik ben erg nieuwsgierig naar de uitslag. Deze manier van spanning opbouwen is echt heerlijk. Wellicht mag je iets dergelijks als het samenstellen van zo'n lijst als triviaal beschouwen maar ik kijk toch elke keer als ik weer naar Musicmeter surf ontzettend uit naar het nieuws in deze thread.

Verder hoop ik dat 'Riders On The Storm', hoewel niet mijn #1, dit jaar een verdiende Top 10 notering gaat behalen en in ieder geval nog boven 'The End' eindigt.

Ik heb toch zo het gevoel dat Street Spirit hét Radiohead-nummer is, en dat dit een eindje boven de andere 2 radioheadnummers zal uitkomen. Dus voor mij Radiohead met Street spirit op 1!

Nee!! niet Street Spirit .

De ander twee zijn middelmatig dus ....

Wel raar dat je Piper at the Gates of Dawn in je top 10 hebt staan, en dan die 2 PF-nummers onderaan hebt staan. Tuurlijk is de muziek wel anders, maar in opzet lijkt de muziek wel op elkaar. Of is gewoon verzadiging met deze nummers? (Vind t zelf ook niet de beste nummers van PF, maar heb ze nog wel op 6 en 13 staan)



middelmatig? Vind Exit Music en Paranoid Android juist vele malen beter dan Street Spirit. Helaas is de algemene opinie anders denk ik...

Street Spirit doet mij ook meer dan die andere twee, al staat ze geen van drieen in mijn Radiohead top 10. Middelmatig zijn geen natuurlijk sowieso niet, die inkomende bas op Exit Music heeft toch wel voor aardig wat kippenvel gezorgd door de jaren heen.

Bij mij staat ze zo in mijn top 32:

Die twee nummers komen van Wish You Were Here en The Wall en dat vind ik nou niet echt geweldige albums... Ik vind het niet echt slecht hoor, maar ik hoor er weinig speciaals aan...

Ik hoop trouwens niet dat veel mensen uit een soort Pavlov-reflex een nummer onderaan zetten... ik heb zelf alle nummers nog eens geluisterd en kwam zo tot een ander lijstje dan als ik het uit mijn hoofd had gedaan. Het ging met name ten koste van The Killing Moon (nu 19, op voorhand top 10) en Winning (nu 28, op voorhand ook veel hoger) en ten faveure van The Arcade Fire (op 7 en 13, hadden anders niet bij de beste 20 gestaan).

Nog even wat rijtjes en feitjes uit de nieuwe MuMeLadder lijst.

Wat ik op 29 augustus al optekende. Hier staan erg veel nummers van mijn persoonlijke top 50 bij....

En bij de nieuwkomers?

Er zijn best ook heel wat persoonlijke favorieten van mezelf verdwenen uit de lijst, maar dat zal voor meer mensen gelden.

Desalniettemin spreekt het lijstje nieuwkomers mij persoonlijk, over het geheel genomen, wel veel meer aan dan het lijstje afvallers.

Natuurlijk zitten daar ook wel nummers tussen die mij aanspreken, maar als ik ze moet spiegelen, dan is de lijst wat mij betreft een stuk kwaliteitsarmer geworden. Maar ja, ik ben wat in de grunge-periode blijven hangen en die bands krijgen ten opzichte van een Neil Young of Bob Dylan veel minder stemmen...

Wat ik op zich dan weer niet rijmen kan, waarschijnlijk doen veel "smaak"-genoten van mij hier niet mee. Tool (geen grunge, maar wel erg mooi) dat op deze site bijvoorbeeld veel positieve reacties krijgt, krijgt hier maar kwalijk punten.

Dat vind ik inderdaad ook heel bizar.

Wellicht is Tool de laatste jaren teveel gehyped?

Vooral dit vind ik een spijtige afvaller:

Fantastische ontdekking voor mij.

Nog 3,5 uur de tijd om jouw persoonlijke top 32 naar mij te pm-en.

Het blijft spannend bovenaan voor de ereplaatsen op het podium (het bovenste schavotje is vergeven), de nummers 3 en 4 zijn van plaats gewisseld en de nieuwe nummer 3 heeft nog maar 2 punten achterstand op de nummer 2.

We zitten inmiddels op 79 lijstjes, 78 daarvan zijn door jullie ingezonden en het eerste lijstje was zoals aangegeven een lijstje obv de gemiddelde stempercentages zoals die door alle 32 nummers behaald zijn in de diverse stemrondes vanaf het begin van het jaar.
Hoogste tijd om dat lijstje alvast te onthullen....of dat lijstje representatief zal zijn voor de einduitslag zal in de komende dagen blijken.

Lijstje obv behaalde stempercentages sinds begin dit jaar (de nr 1 krijgt 32 pt, de nummer 32 krijgt 1 pt).

Vorig jaar ook finalist en toen 12e geworden en ook nu opende The Sound heel sterk in de finale en stond na 1/3 vd stemmen nog in de top 10. Daarna belande het nummer in een vrije val tot de voorlaatste plaats. Uiteindelijk nog 2 plaatsen opgeklommen maar meer dan een 29e plaats zat er dit jaar niet in.
Dit was niet de Love / Hate plaat die ik in eerste instantie bedoelde maar uiteindelijk kun je dit misschien wel de gedeelde Love / Hate plaat vd finale noemen.

3 nummers van m'n top 10 onderaan.

Was te verwachten, Tom Waits op 32.. Enfin, voor mij het beste nummer wat er tussen stond van de 32 songs. Arcade Fire en Nick Drake had ik op 13 en 14. Sound op 32, een van de 4 songs waar ik niks mee heb.

Maar al met al is Martha wel de een na hoogste nieuwe binnenkomer op 32 en dat vind ik wel weer een hele knappe prestatie!

hier 2 uit m'n top 10 weg: Martha (7) en Neighborhood #3 (Power Out) (10).

The Sound en Nick Drake scoorden hier ook niet hoog.

Zelf vind ik het nogal verassend dat Tom Waits op 32 staat. Tom Waits is mss wel een Love/Hate artiest, maar ik dacht dat Martha iedereen goed vond?

Ik had Waits en Drake hoog staan. Maar dat The Sound zo laag staat... Laten we zeggen dat de love/hate balans in mijn geval naar rechts doorsloeg

Kompliment voor El Ninjo; mooi de spanning opbouwen en het prachtig 'neerzetten'.

(ik heb bij deze 4 nummers overigens nog geen 'hartzeer')
