Inderdaad. Het is trouwens wel gewoonte om bij te houden welke nummers van jouw top 32 al voorbij gekomen zijn, maar dan vul je de nog niet genoemde nummers nog niet in. Is ook leuk, want je kan zien wie het dichtst bij de uiteindelijke top 1/2/3/10/etc. zit, en het houdt de spanning erin.

In de laatste tussenstand staan 2 nummers in de top 3 die vorig jaar niet bij de eerste 10 voorkwamen en 1 nummer dat wel in de top 10 van vorig jaar voorkwam.

De huidige nummer 1 uit de tussenstand is trouwens 4x als favoriete nummer genoemd.

Huidige rr. 1. 4x als favoriete nummer genoemd (alleen de nr. 22 is evenvaak genoemd - dat nummer lijkt nu de titel love-hate track te gaan overnemen vd nummer 18).

11 lijstjes verder dan de vorige tussenstand die ik plaatste is de nummer 4 van die lijst inmiddels opgerukt naar de 2e plaats en de koploper tot op 12 pt genaderd.
En de nummer 2 uit die stand is weggezakt naar plaats 7.

En de nummer laatst van die stand is daar eindelijk weg en staat nu 29...persoonlijk word ik niet heel vrolijk van de 3 nummers die ie heeft ingehaald

Kortom: het blijft op en neer schommelen
Nog steeds 10 verschillende artiesten in de top 10 (wel 10 andere dan voorheen) waarvan 7 daar vorig jaar ook vertoefden.

Wat een spanning allemaal weer! Wanneer is de deadline ook al weer?

Wat betreft de discussie omtrent de diversiteit van de lijst; ik denk persoonlijk dat een oplossing is om de diversiteit van de lijst te vergroten is het afschaffen van -1 in de ladders. Een aantal mensen stemmen systematisch muziekstijlen waar ze niks mee hebben naar beneden. Om een voorbeeld te geven:

Mijn nominatie van Girl/Boy Song van Aphex Twin eindigde in groep 7, terwijl deze zonder minnetjes in de 1e ronde in Groep A (1-3) terecht was gekomen. Ook was Shine On You Crazy Diamond zonder minnetjes ruimschoots in de finale terecht gekomen.

Dan vraag ik bij mezelf af wat is het nut van de minnetjes? Tuurlijk om je minst favoriete nummer in een ladder aan te geven, maar zoals het nu gebruikt wordt, is het meer een tool om alternatieve genres als electronic, metal, hiphop, reggae en prog te weren uit de (hoogste regionen) van de ladder. Daarom opper ik bij deze om de minnetjes af te schaffen!

Eigenlijk zo'n slecht idee nog niet...

Minnetjes afschaffen ben ik niet tegen....maar dat betekent dat de puntendeling niet meer op een veelvoud van 10 uitkomt en dat is voor mij makkelijk te controleren.
Het kost zowiezo al genoeg tijd om alle fouten er uit te halen en het scheelt voor mij enorm om met een veelvoud van 10 te rekenen en ladders na te lopen.

Dus dan graag ook een voorstel hoe wel de punten te verdelen en op zo'n manier dat het makkelijk controleerbaar blijft.

We spelen door het jaar heen ladders van 10 nummers, van 8 nummers en van 6 nummers.
In de ladders van 10 en 8 is de pt verdeling 5, 3, 2, 1 en -1 (veelvoud van 10)

In de ladder van 6 is het 3, 2, 1 en -1 (veelvoud van 5)

in de ladders van 10 en 8 4,3,2 en 1 punten en in de ladders van 6 twee maal 2 en een maal 1, lijkt je dat misschien wat?

Ben tegen het afschaffen van de minnen, geeft juist een extra 'spanningselement' en spelelemrent, vooral wanneer het bijvoorbeeld allemaal nummers zijn die je eigenlijk goed vindt

Wel eens met Titmeister was betreft de eerste rondes, daar krijgt alle hip-hop en electronic standaard minnetjes. Ook heel erg leuk om een nummer +5 te geven om 'em daarmee op -4 te helpen of zo. Dat vond ik altijd erg demotiverend en dat is deels ook de reden dat veel andere users met afwijkende smaken zijn afgehaakt.

Als alternatief zou ik overigens eerder de +1 weghalen dan er +4 van maken, anders wordt het verschil wel erg klein. Maar er zijn vast meer alternatieven te bedenken.

Waar ik hierbij bang voor ben is dat er nog veel meer rekenfouten in de ladder komen dan nu al het geval is en dat het nog meer controleren wordt.

Misschien geen gek idee om met 4, 3, 2 en 1 te werken.

Maar op zich ben ik niet tegen het afschaffen vd minnetjes en heeft Titmeister wel een punt mbt de diversiteit en hoe het de verdeling en de uitslag kan beinvloeden.
Vd andere kant, net als Aphex Twins of Pink Floyd krijgen artiesten als Sigur Ros en the Pixies standaard ook heel erg veel minnen en die scoren beide toch redelijk hoog, de laatste haalt zelfs met 3 nummers de finale.

Ladder van 10 wordt 4, 3, 2, 1 = 10.
Ladder van 6 blijft zoals ie is.

Het gebeurt vaak dat ik niet kan kiezen welk nummer het beste is.
Als ik dan toch de knoop doorhak, is het uiteindelijk +5 en +3.
Misschien zou +4 en +3 in zo'n geval eerlijker zijn ...

edit: ik zie plots dat ik niet de eerste met dit voorstel ben ...

Over die minnen ... ik zie vaak een nummer - 1 krijgen
en daarna een vette +5 (als een soort van reactie op die -1 denk ik dan).
Misschien zijn minnen een maat voor niets ... in the long end.

En ik ben nu eenmaal voorstander om positief over muziek te communiceren.
Staat een nummer me niet aan, dan ga ik daar zelden "moeilijk" over doen.

Pixies krijgen toch niet heel veel minnen toch? Sigur Rós idd wel, maar dat is ook een heel erg geliefde artiest, die desondanks, net als Pink Floyd, de finale niet heeft gehaald...

Verder ga je natuurlijk niet opeens Aphex Twin of A Tribe Called Quest bij de laatste 32 krijgen, maar ik denk dat het wel de algemene kansen voor andere genres dan rock en pop verhoogd...

PS: het afschaffen van minnetjes zou mij ook motiveren wat alternatievere nummers (zoals The Flashbulb en Exuma) te nomineren, zonder dat ik op voorhand weet dat ze eruit gestemd worden door alle minnetjes...

Het lijkt mij wel een goed idee om de minnetjes af te schaffen in ronde 1 (De eerste 256 ladders dus) maar te handhaven in de latere rondes. In principe vind ik het stemsysteem namelijk wel goed. De buitenbeentjes krijgen dan de kans om zich te manifesteren en de top 2000 te halen en de top van de lijst blijft dan nog steeds betrouwbaar op dezelfde manier als nu.

Overigens is het wel zo dat als we met 4,3,2,1 gaan werken met hetzelfde aantal stemmers dat de verschillen dan waarschijnlijk veel kleiner gaan worden in de eindstanden van de ladders.

Dan blijft het totaal nog steeds een veelvoud van 10, alleen nu dubbel. Kunnen er wel verschillen worden gemaakt en hebben we geen minnetjes meer.

Ik zat ook wel eens te denken dat jezelf je 10 punten mocht verdelen... Bv op één plaat 10 punten en de rest niets, of twee vijf enz.

Het is razendspannend aan kop....sterker nog we hebben een nieuwe koploper....een nummer dat vorig jaar de top 10 niet haalde.
De nummers 2 en 3 (beide top 10 nummers van vorig jaar) volgen echter op slechts enkele punten.

De top 10 wordt nog steeds bevolkt door 10 verschillende artiesten, 8 a 9 daarvan zijn daar de bijna de hele tijd al te vinden, 1 a 2 wisselen.
Naast de koploper waren 2 andere nummers vorig jaar niet in de top 10 te vinden.

84 meende ik ergens te lezen.

Vorig jaar exact 80 lijstjes.

Het wordt spannender en spannender aan de top en het schuift helemaal in elkaar.

Er zitten momenteel slechts 13 punten tussen de nummer 1 en de nummer 5 en de huidige top 3 heeft alle 3 al eens op 1 gestaan.

De nummers 6 en 7 blijven een beetje hangen op zo'n 30 tot 40 punten van de top 5, nog lang niet kansloos dus maar elke keer als ze dichterbij lijken te komen komt er ineens weer een lijstje binnen waardoor ze weer terug wegzakken.

Nog steeds 10 verschillende artiesten in de top10 maar wel 2 andere namen nu. En 1 artiest staat op het punt om met 2 nummers in de top 10 vertegenwoordigd te worden.

Gewéldig, wat een overzichten El Ninjo, een man naar mijn hart!

Heel snel doorgekeken, geloof ik toch dat er een behoorlijke conservatieve ruk gemaakt is, qua nieuwe binnenkomers in 2009 t.o.v. de verdwijners dit jaar.

Dat verheugt mij, uiteraard. Muziek moet weten te blijven hangen en dat is lang niet elke band gegund.

Daarentegen leidt het ook tot bijvoorbeeld het verdwijnen van The tell tale heart van The Alan Parsons project en komt Old and wise daar voor terug.

Zo'n "move" vind ik dan weer minder. Maar per saldo is het wel een volwassen lijst geworden!

Dat zeker. Het is zowel een consistente lijst, maar ook flink in beweging wat het interessant houdt.


Valt mij ook op inderdaad. Vier dance en electronic-nummers nieuw binnen gekomen (Portishead reken ik dan niet mee). Dat hoef ik dan ook niet meer te nomineren volgend jaar.

Verder ook opmerkelijk dat Pastorale van Ramses Shaffy hoog nieuw binnenkomt, terwijl Zing, Vecht, Huil eruit valt terwijl ie vorig jaar nog 991ste stond.

Vind het ook erg jammer. Zeker als er dingen als Aerosmith voor terugkomen.

Maar goed, verder wel leuke overzichtjes.
