Het is weer tijd voor de jaarlijkse album knock-out . Net als vorig jaar heb ik al een beginlijst gemaakt die bestaat uit:
- Alle albums uit de musicmeter top 250
- Alle albums die hoger dan 150 stemmen en 4 sterren hebben
- Alle albums die vorig jaar bij de laatste 32 zaten

Live-albums, EP's en verzamelaars doen, zoals altijd, niet mee, dus die zijn er al uitgehaald.

Hieruit komt een lijst van 422 albums. Er kunnen dus nog 90 albums bij. Dit betekent dat er 30 users zijn die 3 albums mogen nomineren. Dit aantal is inderdaad dit jaar iets lager dan voorgaande jaren, omdat we anders niet op een rond getal uitkomen. Als we niet aan 30 users komen, mag iedereen nog een album nomineren.

De drie albums die je nomineert:
- moeten reguliere albums zijn (dus geen live-albums, EP's of verzamelaars)
- moeten minimaal 50 stemmen hebben
