Dan beginnen we nu eindelijk, na bijna een heel jaar stemmen, aan het verdelen van de bovenste 256 plaatsen in de MuMeLadder 2010 - Top 2000, ons alternatief voor de radio 2 Top 2000.

En dat het geen gemakkelijke opgave zal worden lijkt me duidelijk. Op basis van de eerder behaalde stempercentages in de voorafgaande rondes zijn de nummers op volgorde gezet van 1 t/m 256. Vervolgens zijn ze op basis van die volgorde in 8 groepen van 32 nummers ingedeeld (nummer 1 t/m 32 in groep 1, nummer 33 t/m 64 in groep 2...t/m nummer 225 t/m 256 in groep 8 ) en is dmv de random list generator uit elke groep 1 nummer in een ladder geplaatst.

Dit houdt in dat de ladders obv de eerder behaalde stempercentages zo eerlijk mogelijk verdeeld zijn en op basis daarvan dus ongeveer even sterk zijn. Maar zoals altijd zullen de meningen heel erg verschillen over wat nu werkelijk de sterke en de zwakke ladders zijn.

Desalniettemin denk ik dat voor iedereen wel geldt dat het gezegde "kill your darlings" in verschillende ladders van toepassing is, ik heb mijn stemmen reeds geplaatst en ik kan zeggen dat het voor mij in ieder geval zeker zo was - met pijn in het hart zijn in een groot aantal ladders nummers buiten de punten gevallen of ik kon slechts 2 of 1 punt kwijt vanwege de hevige concurrentie in de ladder.

We gaan de 256 nummers in 3 rondes terugbrengen tot 32 nummers en met die 32 nummers spelen we dan weer de grote finale.
