Ik begrijp er niets van! De platenhoes die wordt getoond als je aanklikt is de 3 x 3 cd van the Isley brothers uit 1973 met That Lady (part 1 + 2)

Een originele Who's that lady uit 1964? Nooit van gehoord. En als het al bestaat, ontbreekt het in ieder geval aan de jankende gitaar van Ernie Isley, die heeft met de 1973 versie in z'n eentje van mij de 7 punten voor de Isley brothers binnengehaald. Anders moet ik het nog herzien!

Dit is de enige echte originele Isley Brothers - Who's That Lady uit 1964.

Je hebt gelijk!

Ik zal niets zeggen van The Isley brothers in 1963 maar enigszins teleurstellend vind ik het wel. Dat ik niet heb kunnen kiezen voor één van de meest legendarische gitaarsolo's óóit, namelijk die van Ernie Isley op That Lady part 1 + 2. Werkelijk geweldig, maar ik ben bang dat deze versie niet meedoet aan de top 2000?

Ik vrees dat meer stemmers zullen hebben gedacht te hebben gekozen voor het legendarische nummer uit 1973.....

Ik dacht op de rockversie gestemd te hebben uit 1973.

Ja. Al bijna 2 jaar, en dat weten de meeste mensen hier ook wel.
En zonder die muzieksmaak had ik Nathalie niet (of nauwelijks) gekend. En die smaak is alleen nog maar dichter bij elkaar gaan liggen sinds we wat hebben uiteraard. Ik zal je alvast helpen, bij ladder 57 gaat ze ongeveer hetzelfde stemmen als ik, en bij 58 heb ik geen idee, maar er zullen vast punten voor Led Zep bijzitten. Helaas.

En als je de moeite hebt genomen om 18 ladders terug te bladeren heb je vast ook gezien dat er ook genoeg bands zijn waar ik niks mee heb en Nath wel of andersom.

En velen hebben zich al voor je druk gemaakt, want dit is inmiddels de zoveelste keer dat er commentaar komt, zij het iets minder vijandig. Het blijft vermoeiend.

Als we een 'gemiddeldere' smaak hadden, was er waarschijnlijk nog niet eens de helft aan commentaar gekomen.
