Lijst volgt.

Interessante perspectief verschuiving. Een band die als racistisch bekend stond staat nu in de "zwarte" album lijst: ... Madness was linked to skinheads; members of a British working-class subculture that the media often stereotyped as racist...

Mijn lijst komt natuurlijk ook, maar moet er even goed voor zitten.

Tja, de regels zeggen niet dat een band politiek correct moet zijn.
Madness werden opgepikt door de skinheads als een band om op los te gaan.
Overigens een van hun teksten was "We don't care if people are in the NF as long as they're having a good time."
Waarbij NF voor national front staat, een partij te vergelijken met de Nederlandse Centrum Partij.
Ieder "normaal"mens vind dit soort partijen gestoord.
Madness heeft trouwens altijd ontkent dat er enige vorm van racisme in de band zat en had o.a. goede relaties met de andere two tone label en reggea / ska artiesen.
Zelf heb ik ook gekleurde kinderen en hun album in mijn lijst staan.

Klopt Rudi S ik schreef ook alleen maar "Interessante perspectief verschuiving". De vraag of iets wel of niet in deze lijst hoort leidt tot onmogelijke discussies en of je het goed vindt of niet is is uiteraard alleen maar aan jou.

Overigens was er bij Madness wel iets meer aan de hand dan alleen geruchten. Ze namen (soms) afstand van racisme maar gingen op zijn zachtst gezegd nogal ambivalent met de NF om. Juist de tekst die jij citeert geeft aan dat ze niet echt afstand namen van de NF (vervang in die zin de NF eens door racisten en het wordt een zinnetje met een wel hele rare lading).
