Als we even gaan kijken naar de laatste tien jaar muziek dan heeft hiphop toch echt wel een tien keer zo prominente plek ingenomen. Dan is één nummer in de finale nog echt veel te weinig.

Is dat zo?

Ik ken echt maar 3 of 4 mensen in real life die dedicated naar hiphop luisteren.

Ik zou zeggen pak de verkoopcijfers er eens bij. Ik geloof dat Drake en Kendrick Lamar in de top zitten van 2015 met hun albums. Eminem heeft ook wel een leuk zakcentje verdiend aan zijn populariteit.

Of vraag aan een willekeurig persoon of ze Steven Wilson en/of Kanye West kennen. Ik denk dat je bij Steven Wilson al blij mag zijn als je op 1% uitkomt, terwijl waarschijnlijk wel 50% de naam Kanye West kent.

Ik vermoed dat jouw sociale kring significant minder hiphop-minded is dan gemiddeld.

Maar goed, het gaat in dit spelletje om kwaliteit, niet bekendheid. Dus als het merendeel van de stemmers hier vind dat hiphop te weinig kwaliteit bied, dan zij het zo.
