En toch raar dat je sommige albums er niet in hebt staan;)

Voor hem blijkbaar niet, anders was het ook niet zijn top 75.

Ik had een oud Looptroop album er wel in verwacht om maar iets te noemen, als ik zo naar de andere keuzes kijk.

Ik vind het ontzettend knap, dat je in zo'n groot aantal een overwogen keus kan maken tussen wat er op nummer 40 staat en op nummer 60. Dats is geen oordeel maar een waarneming van mijn kant.

Wel een oordeel is dat er ontzettend veel ontzetend vette platen in staan.

Dat doe je bij benadering soundpacca zo werkt het altijd met grote lijsten.

En ik wil mijn lijst weer eens veranderen

Echt bizar hoe de blanke man(lees Eminem) geweerd wordt door veel rapliefhebbers.Heeft meer talent in ze kleine teen dan 90% van de rest.
Maar goed...de blanken probeerden ook Tiger Woods van de golfbaan te houden.

The Slim Shay LP heb ik op 67 staan. Door de oersaaie skits en een paar zwakke tracks heb ik hem niet hoger staan. In deze tijd was Eminem zeer getalenteerd en had ik hem hoog staan. De albums daarna vind ik allemaal wat zwakker. De laatste jaren maakt hij in mijn ogen voornamelijk troep. In de tijd van Slim Shady en Marshall mathers LP was hij zeer goed, maar dat betekent niet dat de albums als geheel zo sterk zijn. Ik vind dat er met zijn talent destijds meer in had gezeten.

Valt heel erg mee hoor, er zijn best wat gerespecteerde blanke rappers in de 'scene'. Maar het hangt er wel erg vanaf van wat soort hip-hop je houdt, de meeste 'blanken' zitten in een redelijk alternatief straatje (Aesop Rock, Sage Francis, Eyedea, Slug, El-P, Cage, etc.), die niet elke hip-hop liefhebber bevalt. En over Eminem ben ik het over het algemeen eens met herbertwest; hij was goed, maar nu is zijn meeste materiaal redelijk jammerlijk.

Ik wou net zeggen, ken zat "blanke" rappers die op een behoorlijk hoog niveau werken.

Plus een paar die naar mijn mening zelfs nog beter zijn dan Em.

Ik heb inmiddels aardig wat hip hop beluisterd.Hiervoor heb ik ook de top tien van veel hip hop liefhebbers hier gebruikt.Toch ben ik niemand tegen gekomen die ook maar in de buurt komt van nummers als Mosh,Who knew,Stan en White America.

Om nog maar te zwijgen over het geniale Kim en in iets mindere mate Bonnie & Clyde 97 dat gewoon korte horrorfilms zijn.

En hoe kom je in godsnaam op een tekst als in Rain Man.Ook het werken met sarcasme dat de meeste rappers vreemd is,bevalt me bij Em.

Ik ga de aankomende tijd nog meer beluisteren en ik hoop dat ik nog betere shit tegenkom,maar ik betwijfel het ten ten zeerste.

Hij kan niet eens fatsoenlijk rappen. .
Typisch een opmerking van iemand die nauwelijks iets met hiphop heeft.

Zeer weinig. Ik vind hem wel een toffe kerel.
Ik vind hem alleen een belabberde MC. Of liever, het is niet mijn smaak.
Tekstueel is hij prima, maar zijn stem, flow, delivery etc. spreken me totaal niet aan.

Zijn eerste 2 albums (exclusief Infinite) zijn gewoon zwaar ook flow, tekst gewoon goed. Beats ook gewoon goed. Daarna ging hij de komiek uit hangen en zelf produceren, waarschijnlijk raakt je inspiratie op als je tientalen miljoenen fans hebt. Dit gebeurde ook bij Rappers als LL Cool J, 50 Cent, Nas (hervond zich dan weer) etc.
