Opvallend: deze keer geen excuustruus solo, maar My Bloody Valentine en Portishead leveren respectievelijk twee en één schoone deernes. Voorts maar twee keer britpop, wel drie keer shoegazing en maar liefst drie hiphop-albums, waarvan die van de Wu-Tang Clan behoorlijk hoge ogen gaat gooien in deze lijst, let maar op. Ook is er plaats voor mijn favoriete platen van Tom Waits en Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds, hoewel Leonard Cohen weer vrij laag eindigt. Deze keer is er plaats voor een echte excuus-Ier: Andy White.
