Gemiddeld: 4.6; afgerond naar boven een 5, mede vanwege het sublieme geluid, het prachtige boekwerk boordevol informatie en foto’s, het artwork van de box en dat van de individuele CD’s.
In de breedte overtreft deze box Archives Vol. I ruimschoots, dat toch wel heel erg leunde op Everybody Knows, Gold Rush en Harvest. De individuele schijven van Vol. II hebben meer dan genoeg replay value, zelfs het wat lager beoordeelde Tuscaloosa en Homegrown.
Het zal lastig worden voor Young om dit nog te overtreffen met Vol. III, wat naar verwachting aan de voorkant erg zal gaan leunen op Comes a Time en Rust Never Sleeps. Hopelijk hoeven we daar geen 11 jaar op te wachten, maar slechts 2.
