In totaal heb ik 53 van de in de totaallijst genoemde albums zelf in bezit. Met de laatste drie kan ik helemaal niets. Ooit aangeschaft vanwege de positieve geluiden op MuMe maar niet my cup of tea.

In Rainbows staat al een aantal jaar op 1 in mijn album top 10, maar de laatste tijd begin ik me steeds vaker af te vragen of ik daar nog wel echt achter sta. Vandaag heb ik mijn drie favoriete albums weer eens gedraaid en ik kan nu de volgende harde conclusie trekken: An Awesome Wave en In the Aeroplane Over the Sea zijn beter dan In Rainbows.
(Morgen kan ik er zomaar anders over denken, maar dat zien we dan wel weer.)

Als ik mijn lijst vergelijk met die van vorig jaar staan er een hele hoop nieuwe albums in: 15 stuks! Voornamelijk re-entry's en een paar albums die ik al langer ken, maar waarvan ik betwijfel of die ooit het Eindspel hebben gehaald (The Milk-Eyed Mender en When Life Gives You Lemons...).

Verder staan er ook 7 compleet nieuwe albums in mijn lijst die ik het afgelopen jaar heb leren kennen. Drie daarvan halen meteen een hoge notering binnen: Homogenic (#8), This Is the Sea (#10) en Ploegsteert (#12), de rest staat op de wat minder memorabele plaatsen 20, 28, 40 en 50.

Het lijstje van stoepkrijt is nummer 90 (die van sokra had ik al verwerkt). Ieder album is nu minimaal één keer genoemd. Sterker nog, 299 van de 300 zijn al minimaal twee keer genoemd. En 295 minimaal drie keer.

The Milk-Eyed Mender haalde vorig jaar (voor het eerst) ook al de top 50 van de 00s.

Atmosphere mocht de eerste drie editie meedoen, maar was de afgelopen drie jaar dus afwezig. Overigens haalde Atmosphere de eerste twee edities zelfs nog de top 50 van dit eindspel (42e, resp. 29e). Het jaar daarna (2013) zakte het alweer terug naar 176. Om dus niet meer terug te keren tot dit jaar.

Van de 300 albums heb ik er 93 beluisterd (volgens iTunes) sinds de start van dit spel (in april). Daar zullen nog wel wat luistersessies via Spotify bij opgeteld kunnen worden, dus dat maakt toch dat ik er ca. 100 beluisterd heb.

Uit de longlist hield ik er na de eerste ronde doorstrepen 81 over. Deze was eenvoudig terug te brengen tot iets meer dan 60 en daarna werd het 'kill your darlings'. Vervolgens nog op volgorde zetten en toen kreeg ik dit resultaat:
