Nooit verwacht dat Strangeways... hier met de overwinning aan de haal zou gaan, maar ondanks het feit dat Morrissey en Marr hier al in scheiding lagen blijft het een mooie plaat.
Dazzler many thanx voor alle inzet in het topic de laatste 11 maanden.
Samen met het dagtopic het afgelopen jaar een van de weinige redenen om regelmatig op de site in te loggen.
Wijsneus mag hier natuurlijk ook niet onvermeld blijven als topicstarter, jammer dat hij het einde niet eens heeft gehaald door onenigheid die het topic bij tijd en wijle bleef plagen.
Maar al zullen we het nooit over alle platen die de laatste 365 dagen de revue zijn gepasseerd eens worden, we zullen het er wel over eens zijn dat er door de jaren in het NW/PP genre een stapel geweldige platen is afgeleverd.
En een heel aantal daarvan kende ik voorheen nog niet, wat misschien wel de grootste raison d'etre van dit mooie topic was.
Ik zeg was, of gaat het net zoals het dagtopic door?

Ik speel deze zomer graag de giga-finale (album van het jaar).
Die giga-finale start nu maandag, telt 4 rondes en duurt tot eind augustus.
Zelf zal ik daarna het album van de maand niet meer modereren.
Maar natuurlijk is het niet verboden dat iemand anders de fakkel overneemt.
Morgen zet ik uiteen hoe de giga-finale zal verlopen.
