De bedoeling is dus eens in de zoveel tijd een nieuwe editie van "De MuMe Top X" te starten. De X staat voor het feit dat het getal hier afhangt van het aantal deelnemers. Ik kan wel overmoedig een top 40 willen samenstellen, maar als dat betekent dat iemand met een album met twee nominaties al erin komt, zie ik daar het nut er niet zo van in.

Deze editie heet: Debuutalbums

We werken volgens oud recept:

01. Stel een top 20 op van je favoriete debuutalbums, maar men is vrij om een top 10 of top 15 in te leveren.

02. Puntentelling is 7-6-5-4-3. Indien een top 20 krijgen de nummer 1-4 7 punten. Indien een top 15 de nummers 1-3 en indien een top alleen 1-2.

03. Noteren gaat als volgt:
1. <Artiest> - <Album>
Let op de . achter het nummer en de titel dient geschreven te worden zoals die op musicmeter aangegeven is (Dus incl. de woorden zoals The). Het beste is dus gewoon om het rechtstreeks van musicmeter te kopiëren.

Het was even wat zoekwerk om daarna weer te gaan strepen maar dit is hem geworden. Wat wel jammer was dat sommige artiesten een soort van "before the fame" album hebben welke eigenlijk niet echt serieus te nemen valt (bv. JM Jarre, Genesis en Porcupine Tree) maar waardoor het eerste "echte" album niet mee mag doen.

Funeral had ik niet als debuut gezien, maar ik ben denk ik de war met hun eerste EP. Zal inderdaad wel winnen, maar onderschat VU&Nico en zeker The Doors niet! Dat zijn toch wel debuutalbums waar men vaak naar grijpt in "beste debuutalbums".
