Ik ken hem ook pas een paar maanden, vandaar de nummer 21 positie hehe.

Opvallend: Status Quo is nog geen enkele maal genomineerd.

Moeilijk moeilijk... Van bijv. de Stones kunnen er zomaar vijf in, dito voor de rest. Toch maar geen dubbele artiesten genomen. Ik kan er moeiteloos nog 100 aan toevoegen, helaas.

In dat geval krijg je precies hetzelfde antwoord, maar dan met de rekensom (1970+1979)/2.

Opvallende keuzes!

Waarschijnlijk heeft Glenn Come Taste The Band en Rising abusievelijk door elkaar gehaald, want eerstgenoemde dateert uit 1975 en laatstgenoemde uit 1976.

Mark II blijft voor mij de beste line-up, maar ook na het vertrek van Gilan en Glover en de toetreding van Coverdale en Hughes (MarkIII) bleef Purple een band om met U aan te spreken. De titeltrack van Burn.

Aan Come Taste the Band ging wederom een bezettingswijziging vooraf, de vervanging van Blackmore door Bolin. Dit album heb ik tot mijn spijt al enige tijd niet meer beluisterd en dient door mij spoedig van haar stoflaag ontdaan te worden.

Shit, helemaal het debuut van Van Halen vergeten!!
Die moet er dan maar in ten koste van Rumours vrees ik...

Sterk decenium. Het valt me ook op dat er maar twee platen zijn die ouder zijn dan het jaar 1975. Sterke periode ook voor de Prog-Rock. Toch is er niet erg veel Prog te vinden.
Zappa doet het in deze lijst ok erg goed.

Dat is inderdaad geen overbodige luxe. Tijdens de vorige editie van deze competitie schitterde de band tenslotte door afwezigheid in de eindrangschikking.
