In elk geval mooi om 154 bovenaan te zien. Ik denk dat die volgend jaar wel in mijn lijst staat; de ontdekking is nu nog te vers.

Het contrast viel me zelf ook al op. Niet eens bewust zo neergezet, het zijn gewoon mijn twee favoriete albums van de 70's die ik op ieder moment kan luisteren en bewonderen. Toch zijn er ook overeenkomsten, beide albums 'komen binnen', zijn reuze oprecht, authentiek en intiem, en vervelen nimmer. Nick Drake staat hoog in mijn algemene Top-10, maar voor deze gelegenheid underdog 154 maar even op één gezet.

Door dit draadje zit ik helemaal in The Moody Blues. Wat een hoop mooie muziek valt er toch nog te ontdekken.

De jaren '70 vind ik het beste albumdecennium met liefst 45 5*-albums. Ook diverser dan de jaren '60, enkel David Bowie, Pink Floyd en Neil Young komen meer dan 1x voor.
