Opvallend dat I Am the Resurrection het hier beter lijkt te doen dan I Wanna Be Adored. Bij het album is het precies andersom, en het verschil is daar behoorlijk groot.

En terecht. I Wanna Be Adored is voor mij verreweg het beste nummer van de Stone Roses. Daar kan geen enkel ander nummer uit dat verder uitstekende debuut album tegenop.

Intussen bij Neneh Cherry op Glastonbury (waar ze opende met Manchild): de achtergrondvisuals crashen en blijken te draaien op een besturingssysteem uit de oertijd. Gotta love her!
