Oef, dat was een bevalling. Video Game, Vesuvius en Chicago waren een no-brainer, en zo ook eigenlijk Should Have Known Better - hoewel ik de laatste twee wel aangenaam vind, heb ik ze altijd vrij overgewaardeerd gevonden binnen Sufjans oeuvre. All Delighted People, Sister Winter en Impossible Soul had ik nog steeds niet genoeg beluisterd en bevielen goed, maar waren er vanwege die onbekendheid alsnog makkelijker eruit te snijden (al moet ik Age of Adz wel echt even wat vaker aanslingeren). Daarna was het echt kiezen tussen je kinderen: de andere drie zijn nog steeds gewoon geweldig, en zet ik regelmatig met veel plezier op. Puur op basis van minst waarschijnlijk om in m'n top-10 terecht te komen dan maar:

Last minute het wondermooie My Rajneesh nog uitgeschakeld, pijnlijk. Ook Visions of Gideon en Video Game worden gemist

Ik mis toch echt wel het hemelsmooie John My Beloved ( heb ik die echt zelf niet toegevoegd) en het ook oh zo mooie maar hier gehate meesterstuk All Delighted People, beide top 5 bij mij.
Wat over blijft is toch ook weer prachtig.
