Live a Little is verslavend. Ernstig verslavend. Vandaar dat dit mijn nieuwe nummer 1 is. Het is een verdomd aanstekelijk popnummer met als grootste kracht het feit dat ieder stukje song even lekker klinkt. Het refrein, de coupletten en zelfs de bridge klinken allemaal even prettig en zijn al dagen niet uit mijn hoofd te krijgen.
Margaret Berger blijft bovenin bivakkeren en lijkt daar niet weg te krijgen. Ze staat nu al vier weken op rij in de top 2, maar heeft maar een week bovenaan gestaan.
Op 3 (vlak voor Get Lucky, mijn grootste stijger deze week) staat nog een nieuwe binnenkomer: Hey Love van Quadron. Een aanstekelijk, swingend, soulvol popnummer met een heerlijke touch van electronica. Gaat dat horen!

Klangkarussell wil ik onderhand ook wel in mijn lijst hebben, maar daar heb ik nog geen plaats voor. Dan maar een weekje in de wacht.

MGMT is gelukkig weer terug van weggeweest en slaat meteen toe. Verder valt het mij zwaar om het nummer van Eins Zwei and the Parallel Cinema na 2 weken al buiten de Top 10 te plaatsen, maar de concurrentiestrijd bovenin is nou eenmaal hevig. Phosphorescent `s Zong for Zula heeft de lijst daarom, na maar liefst 8 weken, moeten verlaten.

De tiplijst wordt deze week aangevoerd door Kelis. Door alle tamtam hier over dat nummer moest ik het natuurlijk even checken. En de buzz blijkt zeker niet onterecht, lekker nummer!

Voor het eerst dat ik ze eens zie, als band. Grappige clip wel weer, maar ik geloof dat de leden van Satellite Stories nog niet ouder zijn dan een jaar of 18.....

Op wikipedia staat Barriers van Suede nu ook aangeduid als single. Klopt dit? Zelf vind ik het niet meteen ergens anders terug namelijk.

Wel een geweldig nummer. Eindelijk een single van The Terror, hij zal volgende week in mijn lijst te vinden zijn.

Bovenin verandert er niks. Onderin des te meer. 3 geweldige singles die op de repeat staan komen binnen en oudgedienden Postal Service en James Blake moeten het veld ruimen.
