Ja, hij is uit. Er is ook een leuke remix van Dan Lissvik. Heerlijk nummer.

Leuk! al geeft dat wel wat druk bij het opstellen van mijn nieuwe lijstje...

Vooral Findlay ben ik blij om dat je die nog in je vizier hebt. Dit singletje is wellicht niet de meest makkelijke en het genre moet je aanspreken maar deze tante gaat het wel redden. Prima strot en een hele goede band. Verwacht ik nog veel van.

Probeer van Fyfe ook nog even zijn ep'tje; daar staan m.i. betere nummers op.

Waar je ook zoekt en kijkt, er is een enorme stroom aan nieuwe en oude muziek die zich weer eens helemaal richt op de Kerstdagen. Het aantal boeiende nummers dat wordt uitgebracht zakt als een plumpudding ineen (gelukkig nog Foxygen, de oude Rod en een prachtige single van The War on Drugs) en eigenlijk moet je in de voorgaande weken een klein voorraadje nieuwe nummers opbouwen. Voor het geval er even mindere tijden zijn.

Ik vond nog wel deze prachtige heruitgave van de Simon & Garfunkel topper Scarborough fair door Laurent Voulzy maar vond het wat flauw het nummer in mijn lijst te zetten. Over jaargetijde muziek gesproken.

Donkere post-punk van The KVB, licht dromerige shoegaze van Mode Moderne, liefdevolle electropop van CATHEDRALS, zwoele indietronica van KALEIDA (wat is dat allemaal met die hoofdletters tegenwoordig?!) , een soul/electronica-mashup van Tahana, frisse indie van Arthur Beatrice en als uitsmijter de nieuwe Jon Hopkins die in mijn ogen helemaal geen introductie nodig heeft.
