Dit is echt een verzoeking, hoe kun je nu kiezen uit zoveel mooie nummers. Ik ben wel een absolute fan van hun werk vanaf 1985, dat moet ik wel zeggen. Vandaar ook mijn eerdere opmerking over Genesis, daar heb je ook zo'n mooie tweedeling. Hun laatste twee albums hebben een paar echte pareltjes voortgebracht wat mij betreft. Spaceface hoor ik nog liever in de Tomcraft remix. Van de periode t/m 1984 kon ik maar met moeite de 12 punten vol krijgen. Tot en met I Travel vind ik de nummers zeker wel goed te noemen. Mijn absolute nummer 1 Ghostdancing ontbreekt helaas.

Helaas is de topic titel niet aangepast zie ik... Ik ga er nog maar een paar pm's aan wagen.

@ Poeha: Potver heb ik 48 liedjes en zit jouw numero uno er niet bij. Het was wel een twijfel geval kan ik melden.

Ik hoor het maar niet wat jullie blijkbaar wel horen bij New Gold Dream (81-82-83-84).
Was er al bang voor dat deze er bovenuit zou steken. Bij Changeling had ik wat meer punten verwacht, aangezien hier nogal veel liefhebbers zijn van de early years van de SM.

Verder valt me de hoge notering van Let There Be Love nogal op. Positief dat zeker, maar toendertijd werd die behoorlijk afgekraakt.

Bij NGD ben ik de enige die er geen punten aan geeft en bij Stars Will Lead the Way ben ik juist de enige die er wel punten aan geeft. Wat zegt dat over mij?

De recentere nummers komen er toch redelijk bekaaid vanaf. Onbekend maakt onbemind? Ik heb gisteren alle tracks nog eens in twee aparte Spotify lijsten gegooid en ze daarna allemaal nog eens snel doorgenomen, alvorens te stemmen.

Contrast tussen beide periodes is wel erg groot, maar dat is niet echt nieuws. Street Fighting Years zou in de eerste groep misschien nog goed zijn voor een puntje of 3, 4.

En nee, ik heb niet eerst de tussenstand bekeken om vervolgens wat 'corrigerend' op te treden... maar het is wel opmerkelijk dat zelfs in een groep die focust op het oude werk flauwe nummers als Waterfront, Up on the Catwalk en Speed Your Love to Me zoveel punten behalen.

Flauwe opmerling over die SITR nummers .......Altijd nog beter dan die magere nummers van de eerste 3 albums (op een enkeling na). Blijkbaar jouw ding niet, maar het laatste wat ze zijn is flauw.
