Holy hour gaat goed! Als je het album luistert is het ook eigenlijk de beste track.. onheilspellend en luid de noodklok toepasselijk in.

Geweldige opener van een sterk album,
maar op zichzelf staand voor mij niet de new wave klassieker van 1981, helaas.
Hetzelfde geldt eigenlijk voor All Cats of Grey. Een lichtjes teleurstellende finale.
Maar ik moet niet zeuren, want ik speelde de eerste rondes niet mee.

Wat mij betreft is dat album met gemak het album vh jaar, The Drowning man was mijn liedje

The Holy Hour mijnes... (en ik vind het een top-finale, maar dazzler's smaak kennende snap ik dat het niet zijn finale is...)

niet helemaal mijn finale, had er wel een OMD in verwacht en voor mij is dit ook de verkeerde Police. Siouxsie is ook niet helemaal mijn ding. Van The Cure ben ik zelf het magistrale Carnage Visors vergeten te nomineren, van het album zelf is The Funeral Party mijn favoriet maar die deed helaas ook niet mee. Verder prima liedjes hoor maar het had beter kunnen zijn.

Zie dit topic nu pas en gelijk al de finale, tja...
Inderdaad een van de sterkste tracks van Faith. Van Simple Minds had ik liever een ander nummer gezien, maar dan had ik ook wat eerder aangesloten moeten zijn, eigen schuld.
Als ik terug kijk heb ik heel wat pareltjes gemist uit 1981, New Stone Age, Over the Wall, Doubts Even Here, Seeing Out the Angel....

Nou, die dazzler is wel gul met punten voor de meeste Cure albums, hoor.
Maar het gaat hem om het etiket klassieker, past meer bij Faith als album dan bij de tracks apart.

O, op die manier (ik dacht wegens OMD/Human Leaugue e.d.), but anyway...

Zet Charlotte Sometimes in de finale en ik geef het nummer de volle pot.

Is een gaaf nummer inderdaad.
