We zijn compleet! Ik ga later vandaag loten en de eerste battles opstarten.

Ja, helemaal in het begin van '85.
Het nummer is later ook nog eens op Meat is murder gesmokkeld.

Het nummer kwam in de zomer van 1984 uit als B-kant (!) van William, It Was Really Nothing,
omdat Rough Trade het te lang vond voor een single.
Toen het nummer echter zo'n bijval kreeg werd het alsnog op single uitgebracht in februari 1985.
Terecht dus dat hij in 1984 meedoet.

The Alarm/68 Guns geweldig nummer! Had hem ook op mijn lijstje staan maar las dat de single in sept 1983 al werd uitgebracht. Verscheen later wel op hun album Declaration uit 1984. Ik kijk in principe altijd naar de oorspronkelijke datum van een nummer. Maar ben blij dat-ie alsnog genomineerd is hoor!
