Leuke plaat ja, krijgt zeker geen straf van mij. Waarom Tom Jones en Petula Clark zo weinig straf krijgen is me een raadsel. En de Stones hebben wel eens wat beters gemaakt dan Get Out Of My Cloud. Okee... smaken verschillen...

Dat nummer van Petula is toch wel geweldig? Fantastische tekst ook, zeker met die wending aan het eind.

Nou herman, heb m nog s een keer beluisterd (voor de eerste keer in mijn leven aandachtig). Ben iets (niet veel) positiever: Het einde is idd leuk gedaan, en de tekst is enthousiast en vrolijk "Kom op, ga de stad in, lekker stappen, t wordt gezellig!".

De tekst vind ik juist helemaal niet zo gezellig. Het lijkt allemaal heel feestelijk, maar de crux van het liedje is juist dat de zangeres net zo eenzaam is als degene die zij toezingt.

Downtown lijkt een gezellig nummer maar heeft een dramatische ondertoon.

Het zevende strafpunt kregen The Walker Brothers en Tom Jones gelijktijdig.
Chris Andrews kreeg dat zevende punt pas van de allerlaatste deelnemer in de lijst.

Wie ze alle 20 op een rijtje krijgt, weegt zwaarder in de eindscore en stemt dus van 20/19 ... tot 2/1.
Maar je mag ook 8 of 13 of 16 songs belonen. Zolang je maar geen rekenfouten maakt.

Heb alleen nummers gekozen die ik graag hoor, "Satisfaction" vind ik echt wel goed, maar veel te veel gehoord. "Yesterday" heb ik vrijwel even vaak gehoord maar nog niet zat. (Ik draai m daarom maar niet vaak, om dat zo te houden).
