Een nieuwe thema K.O. waarin het draait om bands en nummers waarvan de naam opzettelijk verkeerd geschreven is. In het Engelse taalgebied noemen ze dit sensational spelling.

Regels voor het nomineren:

1. 8 nummers per persoon, bij voorkeur zo veel mogelijk verschillende artiesten.
2. Maximaal 4 nummers per uitvoerende in totaal.
3. Na 24 uur volgt een nieuwe nominatieronde van 4.
4. Afhankelijk van het animo gaan we van start met 128 of 256 nummers.

Over iets wel of niet opzettelijk verkeerd geschreven os kun je natuurlijk regelmatig discussiëren, maar ik heb besloten dat woordspelingen onder een andere categorie vallen. Namen met daarin woordspelingen die overduidelijk zijn zoals The Beatles (beetle + beat) en U2 (You Too, You Two of gaat het toch over het vliegtuig?) zijn dus niet toegestaan. Led (Lead) Zeppelin mag daarentegen wel.

Ik vind Absynthe Minded wel twijfelachtig. Lijkt me eerder een woordgrap, je kan het niet echt zien als een foutieve spelling van Absent. Eerder een combinatie van twee woorden voor een nieuw woord.
