Ik las al ergens dat 'ie met een nieuw album bezig is. Als het net zo goed wordt als A Grand Don't Come for Free, ben ik dolgelukkig.

Well it's that time of year again. The ol' rumor mill is churning out some goodness these days. A source close to UGHH.com who works for Dr. Dre's production team out in L.A. has announced that the good doctor is going to be producing a majority of Jay-Z's upcoming LP. Yep, you read right; Jay-Z's upcoming LP. Rumors of Jay's return to the game have been rampant since the moment he announced his retirement, but the source confirms that Jay-Z has already laid down at least two Dr. Dre laced tracks for the LP, and states that the tracks are molten lava! Of course, nothing has been confirmed officially from either camp. If the rumor proves true, prepare for the Jiggaman to shut down the game in the oh-six.

De eerste single van The Streets wordt ´´When You Wasn´t Famous´´, op 27-03 wordt tie uitgebracht.

En dit nog over het album:

On April 11 Birmingham, UK's only son drops the third Streets' album, The Hardest Way To Make An Easy Living. Skinner recorded the record over the summer in his home studio, then finished the tracks in New York in October. Skinner has said the new album will retain his award winning (well, it gets him nominated anyway) chip-shop-meets-hip-hop formula, but will lack the continuously running plot of 2004's A Grand Don't Come For Free. In his own words, "This album is going to be a bit more polished and bit faster, hopefully exciting."

Het kan raar klinken maar Detox van Dr. Dre is al te downloaden..
Ik geloof er geen bal van dat het de officieele Detox is, maar er staan wel geproduceerde nummers van hem op (allemaal btw...) en waar hij natuurlijk zelf op meerapt.
Allemaal onbekende nummers, als het waar is zou ik het lollig vinden.
Maar ik hoef Detox niet, ik heb al een paar nummers gehoord van die Zogenaamde Download album en het klinkt nergens naar.
Als de echte Detox uitkomt.... dan word het pas echt luisteren.
