Ik heb al het een en ander opgezocht en ik moet jullie gelijk geven. Hij rapt wel vet! Vooral bij Protect Ya Neck. Misschien groeit dit album wel en herken ik meer, maar deze luisterbeurten en mijn geschiedenis met dit album vooraf nodigt mij niet echt uit tot vaker luisteren! Ik ben blij dat ik GZA, Method Man, Ghostface en Ol' Dirty heb leren kennen voor dit album! Raekwon wil ik nog steeds luisteren btw.

Dan zou ik wel Only built for cuban Linx.. beluisteren, de afgelopen jaren stelt de beste man niet zoveel meer voor na mijn mening!

Dat album had ik ook in gedachten en al klaar voor een luisterbeurt

En als je Method Man goed vind, zou ik Tical ook even proberen. Op dit album is Inspectah Deck mijn favoriete Wu rapper, en daarna wordt Method Man dat.

Okee, zal het luisteren. Ik vind Method Man altijd wel vet, maar meestal als gast of samen met Redman! Samen zijn ze geweldig!

Method Man z'n verse op Protect Ya Neck en zijn reffrein op C.R.E.A.M. is gewoon geweldig!

Nu klinkt het niet zo geweldig, maar wacht totdat je het hoort. Method Man is sowieso m'n favo rapper.

Method man is ook mijn favoriete rapper. Op Protect ya Neck, en dit hele album eigenlijk, vind Inspectah Deck net wat beter.

Ga hem misschien straks even luisteren,want heb hier toch hoge verwachtingen voor na het album van Gza-Liquid Swords en Wu-Tang Clan-The W.En met deze score.

Als je The W al zo'n goed album vindt, moet het bijna wel dat je dit een fantastisch album vindt!

The W heb ik eigenlijk maar met een 3.5* beoordeeld hoor Maar heb al 4 songs gehoord en ze klinken allesinds zeer goed.

Dan MOET je deze beoordelen met een 5.

Op straffe van wat Method Man allemaal zegt in zijn gelijknamige nummer

Een fantastische album.. .

Iedereen doet hier gewoon zijn ding en rauwere flows dan dit bestaat gewoon niet. Vooral het begin van U-god bij Da mystery of Chessboxin' vind ik heerlijk klinken:

En over de hele album gezien komt toch mijn favoriete rapper er net uit: Method Man. Vooral zijn introductie nummer: M.e.t.h.o.d. man wat hij altijd na een intro van een album doet bij een concert is geweldig (vooral live)
En ook props naar RZA die eigenlijk de perfecte beats heeft gemaakt voor hun rap styles.

Respect voor de 9 mc's alvast want dit is een klassieker voor mij!Deze gaat denk ik niet snel uit mijn cd-speler gaan.Hun rauwe raps met mooie beats van RZA maakt dit eigenlijk prachtig.En dan nog de mooie Kung-fu samples.Maakt dit voor mij een 4.5*

Mag ik nu ook zeggen wie mijn favoriete rappert is hier?
De mijne is Ol' Dirty Bastard, duidelijk. Daarna U God.

Alleen heeft U-God maar 2 stukjes, waarvan het ene stukje zelfs maar 4 regels is...

De beste vier regels van dit album.

Het zijn goede regels, maar absoluut niet de beste.

Hij brengt ze wel dope.

Ja, goede regels heeft die inderdaad wel! Hij is trouwens ook nog een van de paar Wu leden die niet echt achteruit is gegaan afgelopen jaren....

Het is ook precies één van mijn favorieten van de plaat. Hard, branie achtig en ongepolijst. Misschien willen de hiphoppers het niet horen maar de U God is daar bereheavy.

Ik houd ook erg van de schreeuwerige raps van RZA. Later gaat veel meer beheerste en bezwerender rappen. Hier is het allemaal nog lekker 'raw'

Maar die ook maar weinig heeft uitgebracht en waarschijnlijk niet meer actief in de hip-hop is. (U-God)

U-God heeft in 2009 nog een album uitgebracht hoor, of bedoel je dat niet?
