Nog meer Holland-festival prachtnieuws...
op 20 juni.. wordt Sorabji's Tweede Orgelsymfonie in zijn geheel uitgevoerd... die ruim 7 uur duur en echt geweldig is... ga ik zeker bij zijn

Iemand die me kan vertellen hoe groot de kans is dat Clapton & Winwood ooit nog naar NL komen??
ik zit namelijk zwaar in twijfel of ik naar het concert over 2 weken moet gaan en of ik eeuwig spijt krijg als ik niet ga..
(ga iets later ook al naar John Mayer en Muse - zijn verre reisjes en prijzig vanuit Groningen)..

Nieuws voor de liefhebbers: EINSTÜRZENDE NEUBAUTEN
The Berlin band has been an integral part of the international music scene for 30 years.
In 2010 their stage anniversary will be celebrated with a tour through Europe and the United States.
Concerts will be held in selected cities, but also at locations that are significant to the band.
And it’ll be more than just a single concert event during the anniversary tour. The band is planning to make a guest performance on an additional day, presenting the audience with a mixed program of the Einstürzende Neubauten, films, solo shows, guests and friends.
More specifically, the band will play a great concert on the first night, while the second night will be divided into 3-part program.
It’ll begin with films and installations. Afterwards the band will play a further, but much shorter concert in which the Neubauten will present material that has never been played live, hasn’t been played live for a long time, or never in this form.
The evening will be rounded off with shows and performances by the individual Einstürzende Neubauten members, recomposed from city to city:

Volgens de site van de Melkweg speelt de band het concert op de tweede avond (vrijdag) en is het drietrapsprogramma op de eerste dag (donderdag).
Net kaartjes gekocht, alleen voor de vrijdag.

Wat houdt dat lidmaatschap in voor de Melkweg eo Paradiso? Extra toelage/winst? Ik ken dit niet in Twente, waar ik vaak naar Atak Enschede, Metropool Hengelo of Lantaarn Hellendoorn ga.

Naar ik heb vernomen staat James Blackshaw ook nog eens in het voorprogramma van Swans die avond. Geweldig!
