Ik ga als experiment eens een lijst uitrekenen mét mijn (semi-)handmatige aanpassingen en zonder. Dit kost bv. An Awesome Wave al 159 punten (op 605 tot nu toe), omdat drie personen niet het driehoekje (∆) erbij geplaatst hebben.

Voor mij was 2018 een topjaar de nieuwe Riverside komt binnen op 4!

Ik heb geen tijd om albums na te lopen, dus ik tag even de mensen die vorig jaar een lijst ingestuurd hebben, maar dat dit jaar (nog) niet gedaan hebben. Ook heb ik mensen toegevoegd die een lijstje voor de 00s hebben ingestuurd dit jaar, maar ook (nog) niets ingestuurd hebben.

Dit topic is gestart om gezamenlijk tot de beste albums van de jaren '10 te komen. Iedere gebruiker, waaronder jij, is vrij om een toplijst (min. top 10, max. top 30) aan te leveren. Zoals je kunt zien hebben tientallen mensen dit momenteel al gedaan. De precieze spelregels (en die kunnen amper regels genoemd worden) staan in de allereerste post van dit topic.

Hopelijk heb jij nog tijd en zin om een mooie 10s-lijst aan te leveren! De deadline is overigens officieel vanavond al! Maar gezien mijn drukke programma moet ik even kijken of het dit weekend gaat lukken. Als er veel vraag is naar een paar dagen extra, is daar wel een mouw aan te passen.

Een wat lastig decennium voor mij, qua muziek. Nog niet veel ontdekt en wat ik wel geluisterd heb, moet vaak nog bezinken.

Na Geert

Ik ben al zo'n 40 jaar van school af maar soms droom ik nog wel eens van mijn school.

Dan zit ik ineens weer in mijn klas en dan zegt de biologielerares: "Zoals jullie weten moeten jullie morgen een gedroogd exemplaar van het "rode natte vingerkruid" inleveren. Ik heb jullie daar 14 dagen geleden al opdracht voor gegeven en dat is precies de tijd die nodig is om zo'n exemplaar te laten drogen. Ik verwacht er verder een mooi verslag bij".

Uiteraard wist ik weer van niks. In die droom loop ik na de les naar buiten. Zie allemaal plantjes waarvan ik niet weet hoe ze heten en pak het eerste de beste onkruid wat ik tegenkom, neem het mee naar huis en leg het onder een stapel van twee meter boeken.
Ik schrijf er een stukje bij en lever plant en geschrift de volgende dag bij de juf in.

De daarop volgende les haalt ze me voor de klas en zegt :
"Jammer dat je een niet gedroogd exemplaar van de "blauwe droge teendistel" hebt ingeleverd. Fouter kan niet.
En dat verslag wat erbij zat lijkt enorm op dat van Nel. Hoe kan dat?"
Op dat moment word ik wakker.

Gisteren vernam ik om 11 uur dat ik nog een uur de tijd had om een lijstje voor dit decennium in te leveren. Dan kijk je wat anderen hebben aangeleverd. Heel veel onbekend werk. Natalia Lafourcade bijvoorbeeld moet ik ooit nog beluisteren.

Ik ging nog even als een dolle heen door wat ik wel kende: LP1, RJW2, Saturation3, DAMN. Ik zette ze in de juiste volgorde en ontdekte dat al die anderen die albums ook al hadden. Dan maar Danny Brown op 27 met 3xX, die schijnt niemand te hebben. 8 jaar niet meer beluisterd maar volgens mij vond ik die destijds wel leuk.

Uiteindelijk lijstje klaar. Het is inmiddels bijna half 4 in de nacht.
Blijk ik precies dezelfde top 3 te hebben als Nel. En de rest van de lijst heeft ook grote overeenkomsten.

Hoe kan dat?
Ze heeft een goede smaak, dat wel.
Ik ga slapen.
