Ik dacht al zeker te weten dat Kali Malone mijn beste album van het jaar zou worden, maar toen kwam de nieuwe Liturgy en kan ik echt even niet kiezen. Sowieso is 2023 op weg om een krankzinnig muziekjaar te worden. Heb nu al meer 4,5* gegeven dan in heel 2022 en ik zou zo al een top50 kunnen vullen met albums die echt enorm de moeite waard zijn. Neem de eerste week van juli stiekem nog even mee in mijn halfjaarcijfers, kunnen P.J. en ANOHNI ook nog even meedoen. Juni was trouwens ziek goed met 6(!) nieuwe entries in mijn top-20. Halverwege al het beste jaar vd '20s tot dusver, vergeleken met de lijstjes van voorgaande jaren.
