Zeker wel. Maar het tempo is behoorlijk en de lijst ook.
Laat ik reageren via een retrospective op de totale lijst.

Per 25 stuks. Ik heb zojuist de onderste 25 allemaal beluisterd en gedateerd.

Je hebt ondanks dat we qua leeftijd verschillen (ik ben een stuk ouder dan jij) ongeveer mijn smaak. Ik weet niet of dat een compliment is maar het maakt het voor mij een groot genoegen deze lijst te volgen.

Opvallend veel nieuw werk bij deze 25 maar dat zal niet zo blijven.
1989 en 1992 staan ook in mijn lijst (en ook redelijk onderaan). Ik beschouw ze als guilty pleasures maar enig schuldgevoel is in dit topic niet nodig.
Het tegenovergestelde kan je wellicht stellen voor Sade, Sting en Simply red die ik de minste vind van deze serie. Maar dat is echt een kwestie van smaak want de kwaliteit is bij hen gegarandeerd.
Enige die ik niet kende was nr. 1976.
Voor het overige een groot genoegen om te beluisteren maar dat schreef ik geloof ik al.

Een top 2000 waarbij we Supertramp, Alan Parsons en David Bowie redelijk aan de onderkant terugzien. En daar heb ik geen moeite mee.
De echte top 2000 waar dit een reactie op is kent veel te weinig soul. Vooral de la Soul mag ik graag terugzien.
Hier kan ik meer nummers niet (1955, 1953, 1952) en dat geldt voor opvallend veel werk van na 2010. Ed Sheeran is een opvallende uitzondering in meerdere opzichten. Die had ik niet direct verwacht. Maar ik heb geen hekel aan Ed.
