Ok, wat Blur zo hoog doet vraag ik me af, het is wel 1 van hun betere singles, maar ik zou dat nu niet in de top 20 laten. N-Joi Anthem is nog steeds leuk, die van Culture Beat is ook 1 van hun leukere voordat het zo'n typische euro act sound wordt. En George Michael met 1 van de mindere singles van Listen without prejudice, zou nu ook de top 20 niet halen.

Herinnerde me de cip van Maria McKee anders, denk dat dit bewerkt is door een fan, het nummer is bij mij altijd verbonden aan Take my breath away, er zijn wat overeenkomsten (allebei een Tom Cruise film, allebei een liefdesverklaring en ook alletwee nogal schooierig geklede zangeressen )

Toch altijd wel benieuwd wat er van de mensen uit die kortstondige dance acts terecht is gekomen. Veel werken gewoon via andere groepen verder, zo is zangeres Sharon Dee Clarke nog op wat solo werk te horen met Serious Rope en had ze al in 1989 een grote hit met Going back to my roots samen met The FPI Project. En een carriere als actrice. De muzikale man achter het project, Damon Rochefort pende heel wat nummers voor anderen en heeft lange tijd voor Coronation Street soaplijnen geschreven.
Nu weet ik niet zeker of de rapper van de clip hierboven dan Steve Mc Cutcheon is (qua foto op Wiki lijkt het wel) maar die heeft helemaal een imposante writer's carriere met nummers geschreven voor Pink, Calvin Harris, Westlife, Ed Sheeran, Little Mix, One Direction en produceerde mee aan Clean Bandit's & Zara Larsson's Synphony. Dus een grote popcarriere eruit gesleept.
