Hierbij stelt iedere deelnemer een toplijst op van albums uit een bepaalde decennium (in dit geval de 60s). Je moet minimaal een top 10 en maximaal een top 30 maken. Wellicht een idee om ook juist bij onbekende albums te kijken? Daar vind je juist de 60s kenners/liefhebbers, denk ik. Levert wellicht wat interessantere lijstjes op.

Alsof jij geen kenner zou zijn

Mijn ervaring is dat je veelal alsnog dezelfde mensen tegenkomt.

Maar neem bv. een klassieker als Charles Mingus - The Black Saint and the Sinner Lady (1963). Er zijn 11 pagina's geschreven, maar het eerste bericht dat je ziet is alweer van oktober 2012. Het laatste bericht is alweer 1,5 jaar geleden.
Als je wat obscuurder gaat kijken, bv. Caravan - Caravan (1968), dan kom ik wat bekende namen tegen en verder mensen die al jaren niet meer op de site geweest zijn.

Wat is dan precies het voordeel van het zoeken bij obscuurdere albums? Het koste vele malen meer werk en levert per saldo volgens mij weinig op.

Bij de 00s probeer ik dit wel te doen en bij de 10s gaat dit al helemaal makkelijk, want dan kijk je gewoon bij de albums uit 2015. Maar ik wil zelf ook niet te veel sturen, dus dan moet ik ook meer obscure platen kennen en uit de 60s ken ik die relatief weinig.

Ben best tevreden wanneer ik de lijst bekijk, al blijven talloze goeie albums in de kou staan.
Het viel me meteen op dat alle albums zich eerder in het laatste gedeelte van de 60's bevinden. Behalve wanneer het over jazz gaat. Opvallend.
