Waarschijnlijk het moeilijkste decennium voor mij, ik verdubbel m’n lijstje: een top 60 dan maar. Wat is dit toch verschrikkelijk moeilijk, Neon Bible moet waarschijnlijk nog wat hoger maar ik zou niet weten op welke plek, en Kasabian – West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum haalde de lijst net niet, al haalt dat album ook nog 4,5.

Ik zou nog eens goed naar het jaartal kijken.

De jaren '00 is qua muziek niet echt mijn decennium geweest. Kan ik moeiteloos lange lijsten maken met muziek uit de jaren '70 en '80, voor de jaren '90 werd het al moeilijker. De jaren '00 leveren een kort lijstje op van albums die ik de moeite waard vond om (2de hands) te kopen. Niet dat ik geen CD's meer koop, integendeel, maar ik grijp graag terug op wat oudere muziek. Bij veel nieuwe muziek heb ik toch vaak het idee Been there, done that .
Onderstaand lijstje heb ik in de kast staan. Wat betreft mijn nummer 1: ik heb weinig met Coldplay maar A Rush vind ik nog altijd een uitstekend gelukt album. Mijn nummer 4 van Outkast is alleen voor The Love Below, een heerlijk album. Speakerboxxx is niet mijn smaak.
Niet op de lijst staat bijvoorbeeld Daft Punk's Discovery die ik ook (werkeloos) in de kast heb staan. Daar heb ik op de één of andere wijze helemaal niets mee.
