Niet makkelijk, want het hangt van de stemming van de dag af welk album je nu het beste vind. Niettemin zijn het albums die door mij met 5* en 4½* sterrren gewaardeerd zijn. Jazz albums zitten trouwens bij mij enorm in de lift.

Uit de jaren '60 heb ik erg weinig albums. Wel een aantal goede verzamelaars met veel Engelse en Amerikaanse (single) hits uit die jaren want er werd toen al erg leuke muziek gemaakt welke ik als jochie indertijd veel op de radio hoorde (naast, toen ook al, de vele sh*t ).

Het is bijna onmogelijk om de albums in de "goede volgorde" te plaatsen, d.w.z. het zogenaamd "beste" album op nummer 1 te zetten. Dat is uiteraard een illusie. Het is vanzelfsprekend een kwestie van appels, peren en andersoortig fruit vergelijken. Na enig nadenken heb ik voor een wat andere aanpak gekozen. Het eerste tiental albums draai ik de laatste jaren wat vaker dan de lager genoteerde albums, en dat heb ik verdisconteerd in de toegekende volgorde. De nrs 11 t/m 30 hebben hun waarde (voor mij) al ruimschoots bewezen - sommige kan ik wel dromen en hoef ik niet zo vaak meer te beluisteren.

Nog een opmerking: ik ben opgegroeid en volwassen geworden (hoop ik) in de jaren 60, en ken daardoor veel meer uitstekende albums dan die ik hier vermeld heb. Veel albumtitels zijn dan ook domweg gesneuveld bij het selecteren. Bovendien heb ik mijzelf door het toegestane aantal van 30 albums moeten beperken tot één album per artiest.

Nog even ter herinnering: aangezien ik naar het Hoge Noorden vertrek, is de deadline opgeschoven van normaliter op vrijdag naar eenmalig op zondag.

Geweldige lijst, heartofsoul.
Zit ook tenminste één afschuwelijk album tussen maar goed dat houd je toch.
Veel prachtige albums dus de albums die ik niet ken dan maar eens gaan luisteren. De jaren '60 zijn muzikaal gewoon interessant.

Geeft niet hoor dat je Revolver van The Beatles niet goed vindt - ik heb tenslotte ook, ondanks mijn brede smaak, een afkeer van bepaalde albums. Neem althans aan dat het vooral om The Beatles gaat?

Gooi jij er ook een lijstje in, buizen?

Nee. Heb niet veel tijd de komende tijd en de jaren '60 is eerlijk gezegd nog vrij braakliggend terrein, mijn lijst (van albums die ik ken) zou belachelijk zijn omdat waarschijnlijk zeer goede albums gewoon zouden ontbreken (omdat ze nog ontdekt moeten). Dit topic (ik let ook een beetje op de users die hun lijst indienen, qua hun smaak) is wel verrekte handig om de sixties te ontdekken.

Wel broed ik op een evt. top-10 van live-albums uit de jaren '70/ '80 want met Broem wil dat maar niet van de grond komen.

Het was maar een grolletje, Broem. Wellicht komt er nog eens een top-10 van live rock albums uit de decennia '70 / '80 en haak jij dan aan, ergens in je drukke bestaan.
Maar een top-10 is eigenlijk geen doen.
