Gestemd op 554 albums van 2017 maar ook nog diverse albums gedeeltelijk geluisterd (ik stem alleen op albums die ik tenminste 1x compleet beluisterd heb). Een record voor mij ook wat betreft scrobbles op Last.fm (hoef alleen Renoir voor me te laten - aERodynamIC heeft dubbele scrobbles dat is niet correct )

..en volgend jaar zal ik veel minder nieuwe albums beluisteren en me meer concentreren op oude favorieten. Maar ja dat zeg ik volgens mij elk jaar... maar als ik vaker naar concerten ga dan zal ik automatische minder albums luisteren. Of meer naar de bios want dat lijd er wel erg onder. Normaal ga ik circa 20x per jaar een filmpje pakken, dit jaar maar 2x!!! Staan dan wel 50 concerten tegenover en circa 80 acts live gezien... dat is ook bijna een persoonlijk record.

Het werd nog een hele frustrerende klus om een Top 10 samen te stellen terwijl ik er eigenlijk 13-16 contenders heb. Verder heeft alles in de Top 50 ooit in de Top 10 gestaan of is overwogen om het daar te plaatsen. Ik had al eerder een lijstje met de beste EP's van 2017 gepresenteerd. Alle genoemd albums zijn door mij met tenminste 4* gewaardeerd of hoger. Top 3 = 5* en de albums tot nr. 16 heeft 4,5* of overweeg ik om dit te gaan gegeven. Vanaf nr. 28 tot circa nr. 55 staan er albums waarvan ik vind dat ik ze nog te weinig heb beluisterd... van de overige albums tot nr. 65 had ik eigenlijk iets meer verwacht ook al zijn het goed albums.

Hoor graag wat ik mogelijk heb gemist op basis van mijn lijstje. Ik zie alvast dat de nieuwe Fever Ray mij is ontglipt. De nieuwe Björk heb ik pas één keer geluisterd en heeft potentie om tot een favoriet uit te groeien. Arca's eigen album viel me dit jaar helaas tegen. Het album van Grizzly Bear beviel me volgens mij behoorlijk goed, maar verder niet meer opgezet. Die van Juana Molina ook pas één keer gehoord alleen vond ik die volgens mij op het eerste gehoor niet zo sterk in tegenstelling tot haar vorige album.
