Een geen onverdienstelijke 44e positie voor Supermax. De Queen of glam mag ook niet ontbreken in de lijst. Heel succesvol in de begin 70's met glamklassiekers als Can The Can, 48 Crash en Devil Gate Drive. Ja, dat was wat, een pittig vrouwtje in een leren pak gehezen met een te grote basgitaar en rauwe strot. Net toen zij in de vergetelheid dreigde te raken, scoorde zij opmerkelijk in dit jaar. Een duet met Smokie's Chris Norman werd een hit en ook het volgende liedje ( met Smokie in de coirtjes) deed het niet onaardig. Ook duidelijk een Nicky Chinn en Mike Chapman bedenksel. De hits raakte hierna snel op, maar tot op de dag vandaag is ze nog steeds op de buhne te vinden.

Suzi Q op een 84e plaats. Nr.124 heb ik gereserveerd voor een band uit Engeland. Gezien als punkband met inhoud en in het thuisland redelijk succesvol. De single 2-4-6-8 Motorway behaald een 5e plek in de Engelse charts. Vrij snel volgt een EP ( Rising Free) met nummers live opgenomen in het Lyceum Theatre. Het bevat o.a het controversiele Glad To Be Gay ( Tom Robinson is homosexueel.) De volgende song doet het minder in de charts, maar wordt door velen als een punkclassic gezien. Robinson gaat in de 80's solo verder en scoort hier nog goed met Listen To The Radio.
