Er zijn tot nu toe maar liefst 57 verschillende nummers aangedragen. Kan ik me voorstellen: de mannen hebben nu eenmaal veel goede platen uitgebracht.

Mocht je nog geen lijstje hebben ingediend, je hebt nog een klein uur. Om 20.00 starten we met ronde 2 (of een shoot-out, mocht dat nodig zijn).

Er zijn 9 platen minstens 5x genomineerd. Die negen zijn hun plek in de volgende ronde al zeker.

De eerste ronde was ongekend spannend en zelfs in de shoot-out konden we geen duidelijke keuze maken. 

De lijst voor de tweede ronde bestaat uit 31 nummers: de 20 songs uit de startlijst en de 11 die er via de nominatieronde zijn bijgekomen (deze staan aangegeven met * ).

Aan ons nu de lastige taak om uit deze lijst tien nummers te kiezen die niet meegaan naar de finale. Geef door welke tien van jou niet mee hoeven: de vaakst genoemde nummers vallen af.

Ik moest bijna de helft van deze lijst (her)beluisteren, iets wat ik normaalgesproken uit als principe vermomde luiheid niet doe. Maar het is nou eenmaal wel 10cc...

Die liedjes van na 1978 zullen wel allemaal afvallen. De eerlijkheid gebiedt mij te zeggen dat een flink deel daarvan mij eigenlijk prima beviel. En dat Asia's Ready to go Home eigenlijk een 10cc-cover was, heb ik op zeker moment wel even geweten, maar het was me in tussentijd ook weer royaal ontschoten.

De helft van dit lijstje wilde ik eigenlijk ook niet wegstemmen, maar dat is nu eenmaal het spelletje...
