Ik ben er nog niet aan toegekomen om ze verder te beluisteren, maar ook hier gaat Thy Catafalque er met een punt vandoor. Op momenten erg genietbare muziek, heerlijk sfeervol en meeslepend. Silver Lake heb ik ondertussen al wel kunnen beluisteren en dat beviel erg goed. Mede dankzij de heerlijke zang van Jonas Renske. De hoofdpunten gaat (uiteraard) naar Leprous, de vorige keer concurreerde ze met zichzelf waardoor ze puntloos bleven, maar deze keer hebben ze dat probleem niet.

Ray Wilson is ook nog best genietbaar, maar mist de spanning die bovenstaande nummers wel weten te leveren. LTE en Derek doen me vooral verlangen naar Dream Theater of Sons of Apollo.

In tegenstelling tot eerdere geluiden vind ik deze ladder veel beter als de vorige, ik beoordeelde hiervan iedere nummer met een (ruime) voldoende, dat kon ik van de vorige ladder niet zeggen, de uiteindelijke winnaar daarin, vond ik zelfs 2 keer irritant.

Ook hier staat het minste nummer bovenaan, het is niet slecht, maar de rest is aanmerkelijk beter.

Mother Earth van Ray Wilson vind ik een prachtig nummer, en het is ook schitterend hoe LTE zo'n klassieker in een modern jasje perst, ook de instrumentaal van Derek beluisterde ik weer met veel plezier, bij Leprous ben ik toch vooral fan van het laatste album.
