Ah ! Strictly Inc -> het verzamelnummer wat meer een soort samenvatting is van een 3-tal Genesis albums uit de eindjaren 80, begin jaren 90. Ik heb nog altijd het vermoeden dat Banks nog wat deuntjes van die jaren op de plank had liggen die Collins niet wilde zingen. Het blijft leuk klinken als één compositie.

Waarom heeft Mad Sylvan hier nog geen enkel punt gekregen met één van de beste mooiste prognummers van de afgelopen jaren waarin zo'n geweldig gitaarduel echt ronkend uit mijn speakers komt met diep jankende gitaren !! Dat einde met die drijvende pianoklanken.. Ooit wel eens echt goed beluisterd ABDrums ?

Ach, Wallflower... Eén van de meest trieste teksten ooit. Ik dacht eerst dat het over zo'n muurbloempje ging die niet ten dans werd gevraagd maar het gaat zoveel dieper. Eén van Gabriels mooiste klassiekers.

Nu even weer lekker luisteren naar TOOL. Een soort Rivella Prog maar dan zeer sterk geconcentreerd.

Zeker meneer, ik was goed bij de les vandaag ( )! Nad Sylvan weet naar mijn mening niet op te boksen tegen de klassiekers die allemaal in deze ladder vertegenwoordigd zijn. Mijn vier-, drie- en tweepunter zijn toch echt van een ander niveau dan What Have You Done. Daarnaast beviel Nighttime Birds me beter dan What Have You Done. Het slepende, ik zou het bijna tergend willen noemen, tempo gecombineerd met de prachtige stem van Anneke van Giesbergen zorgen voor een uiterst genietbaar geheel.

Smaken verschillen. Gelukkig maar...
