Summerland van Lunatic Soul vind ik nog altijd 1 van de beste nummers op hun 1e album en is mijn eigen nominatie en die wil ik nog niet loslaten...

Afraid of Sunlight is echt wel een mooi nummer maar is tegelijk ook nooit echt een favoriet van mij geweest. Daarom gaat het laatste punt naar Harmony Korine voor de broodnodige variatie in deze ladder.

Haken blijft toch wel genieten hoor. En hoe meer ik dit hoor hoe meer ik merk dat ik dit toch wel mis in het moderne Djent georiënteerde Haken. Katatonia komt hier ook weer erg fijn uit de hoek. Net zoals Steven Wilson trouwens. Het laatste puntje ging tussen Lifesigns en Lunatic Soul en beide kunnen ze dat puntje wel gebruiken. De rest van de ladder is ook niet verkeerd trouwens hoewel er toch wel een Marillion mag afvallen van mij.

Ik snap je niet. Dit komt nogal tegenstrijdig over, want waar valt er in een liedjesspelletje anders over te tieren, etc., dan over de liedjes zelf? That's the whole point. Het is geen ad hominem.

Fantastisch nummer van Haken. Al hadden ze wel wat meer uit de bocht mogen vliegen met die bouzoukisolo. Prog needs more bouzouki!
In ieder geval meer dan Lifesigns: niet uitgesproken slecht ofzo, maar zelden zulke liftmuzakkerige, gezapige gaapsnurkneuzelprog gehoord.
Die van Katatonia bevalt me trouwens best goed en dat zeg ik niet al te vaak. Evenzogoed toch puntloos.
