Ronde 1 is klaar!

Ronde 2 volgt na mijn lunch.

Wat mij betreft de grootste schok van de eerste ronde: dat het enige nummer van Jethro Tull (en dan niet eens Locomotive breath maar Aqualung) het af moest leggen tegen Me myself and I van De La Soul.

Aqualung is idd een monument in de popmuziek.
De beste wint niet altijd hier.
Meerdere rare uitslagen gezien, ik kan er mee leven.

Even kort wat statistieken voordat we naar ronde 2 gaan:


- Van hofleveranciers The Beatles en The Rolling Stones "winnen" de Stones: zij verloren 2 songs waar de kevers er 3 kwijtraakten.

- Opvallend: wij haten artiesten die met een B beginnen en 2 ijzers in het vuur hadden. Die zijn namelijk allemaal volledig uitgespeeld.

Zij begonnen dit spel met 2 liedjes, maar keren allemaal niet meer terug in ronde 2.
Dat geldt trouwens ook voor Amos Milburn, die begint niet met een B, maar de A zit voor ons dichtbij die gehate B genoeg om ook hem uit het spel te schrappen.

We gaan beginnen met ronde 2!

Me Myself and I scoort op RYM net iets hoger dan Aqualung. Hier scoort het album van JT hoger, maar ook dat scheelt weinig, 3.95 om 4.01. Dus redelijk gelijkwaardige tegenstanders.

Over een Greatest Hits gesproken trouwens:

7 zangers die Bobby als voornaam hebben staan deze week centraal. Kom gezellig meedoen daar allemaal!

Ja echt. Komt eraan. Ik wil de battles nalopen op fouten (660 songs om mee te beginnen is best veel), en ben nu aan het schuiven met battles. Battles, niet songs! 100% transparantie; alles kan tegen elkaar. Geen stiekeme verschuivingen, geen favorieten ontzien (djuu, ben échte persoonlijke favorieten al in ronde 1 kwijt man!), maar wat ik wel aan het doen ben is zorgen dat we geen 2x Beatles achter elkaar krijgen, of slechts 1 battle tussen 2 Stones battles in enzo.

Ik weet het, ik neem het te serieus. Who cares, als ik het doe wil ik het ook wel leuk maken met de battletjes.

Ronde 2 komt eraan dus, na de final check.
