Kan ik me voorstellen, maar ik heb Motorcycle Emptiness nooit zoveel aan gevonden. If You Tolerate This was daarentegen in 1998 misschien wel mijn favoriete nummer van het jaar.

Ik vind het wel heel jammer om te zien dat You're Tender and You're Tired zo vaak voorbij komt, voor mij toch wel top 5 materiaal.

Ach, als dat alles is. Ik heb van mijn top 10 waarschijnlijk alleen nog maar mijn nummer 5, 6 en 7 over na deze ronde.

Ik vind de zang van James Dean Bradfield juist een van de sterke punten van MSP. Heerlijke gepassioneerde uithalen.

Overwegend nummers van This Is My Truth, Tell My Yours. The Holy Bible blijft wel mijn favoriete album, maar die nummers vind ik vooral als geheel sterk.

Mijn MSP-liefde begon bij This Is My Truth, Tell Me Yours, maar enige vermoeidheid bij de hits en een weinig gunstige 1e/2e ronde, laten daar maar 1 nummer van over. Dan ligt de nadruk dus op Everything Must Go (4x waaronder 1 en 2).

Met het oude werk heb ik gemiddeld door wat minder, maar bij vlagen weten ze de ordinaire punk toch wel te overstijgen. Dat lukt met name op Gold Against the Soul, maar ook daar is de finaleselectie ongunstig (Sleepflower werd bijna het plusnummer), terwijl het onevenwichtige debuut 2 nummers in mijn eindlijst krijgt.

Na This Is My Truth gaat de urgentie er voor mij ook wat af, al duikt er af en toe nog zo'n onvergetelijk 'anthem' nummer op (A Song for Departure, Your Love Is Not Enough). En voor een goede Beach Boys-pastiche (So Why So Sad) is ook altijd plaats.

Mijn hele top 4 is weggestemd, maar gelukkig is er de gelegenheidsregel waardoor ik er eentje kan redden.

Ik geef toe, niet echt een grote album diversiteit. Het is vrij duidelijk welke 2 albums mijn favorieten zijn van MSP. De + zet ik niet in, dat vind ik maar een rare regel.
