Het is zeker geen kritiek Zephyr. Ik vind dit topic een goed initiatief. Alleen een dergelijke competitie (ik neem aan dat je dat bedoelt) mondt vaak uit in een voorspelbare winnaar. Ik hoor graag meer de achtergrondverhalen bij een (wave)nummer. Maar dat boeit blijkbaar ook niet lang, gezien de stille dood van de new wave mixtape van de week.

Eigenlijk is het een trieste zaak dat zo'n album als dit - dat imo best als ep uitgebracht had kunnen worden - al zoveel stemmen heeft, terwijl 154, Garlands, Juju - wave-parels van het zuiverste kaliber - op 7 bleven steken en het werkelijke superieure Script of the Bridge niet verder kwam dan 5 hele stemmen. En The Feelies slechts 2.
